A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, February 16, 2025
Hey friends!! I heard an analogy and it struck me so deeply. I want to share it with you all today. He was telling a story of a man who came across a mason who was chipping away at a brick. The building he was working on looked nearly complete. So the man walking by asked him what he was doing. He mason said, “do you see that spot way up there where there is a small opening? I am chipping away at this brick down here to make it fit way up there.”
Sometimes it feels like we are being chipped away piece by piece by the problems and issues of our lives. And sometimes we just think, how much more can I take. But let me tell you something, God is perfecting us through the things we suffer to prepare us for a place He is taking us. And we just won’t “fit” without a little chipping away of some things in our lives because like Jesus, we are perfected through our obedience in the things we suffer. Remember, He will make beauty from the ashes, He makes all things new, He takes everything that was meant to harm us and uses it for our good! Even Jesus, though he was Gods son, He learned obedience through the things He suffered and God PERFECTED Him and He became the source of eternal life! He is PERFECTING US!! Preparing us for what He has for us to become!! Trust the process!! You are so loved. So loved that He sent His son to die for you. So loved that He has a place prepared for you and He knows exactly what you need to get there!! In the Masters Hands, chipping is perfecting! You are so loved, live loved friends!!
