Six Flags Now Requires Chaperones

March 25, 2025 – Six Flags Over Texas has announced an updated chaperone policy ahead of its Spring 2025 opening. Under the new guidelines, all guests aged 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years old for the duration of their visit. This change is part of the park’s ongoing efforts to enhance guest safety and create a more family-friendly environment.

To enforce the policy, all visitors who appear to be 15 years old or younger may be required to present a valid government-issued ID upon entry. Those unable to provide proper identification or without a chaperone will be denied entry or asked to leave the park. The designated chaperone must remain with their group at all times, ensuring a responsible adult is present throughout the visit.

Six Flags Over Texas’ decision aligns with similar policies adopted by other theme parks in response to concerns over safety and unruly behavior. Park officials believe this change will lead to a more enjoyable experience for all guests. As the park prepares for its Spring 2025 season, visitors are encouraged to review the updated guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free visit.
