Pamela Sue Smith, age 57, of Point, passed away suddenly on Sunday,July 28, 2019, at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Pam was born on October 2, 1961, in Fredericksburg, VA. Her motherwas Frances Susan Seay Harris, and she preceded her in death earlier this year in January, 2019.
Pam married Kyle Van Smith in Tyler on October 30, 2016. She workedas a homemaker and a caregiver most all of her life. She loved and nurtured her children, step-children and grandchildren. They were the joy of her life!

Step-Daughters: Lacy Nicole Smith of Emory, Rebecca Paige Smith of Wichita Falls, Amber Lynn Smith of Wichita Falls
Sister: Paula Ann Newman of Quinlan
Brother: Alfred Lee Harris of Mesquite
Grandchildren: 8
Preceded by: Father, Darrell Harris; Mother, Frances Harris, in January 2019
Pam’s immediate family had a brief viewing. Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
