Filing for seats on the Sulphur Springs City Council, Sulphur Springs School Board and the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Board gets underway next Wednesday and will continue through February 27. Sulphur Springs City Council seats in Places 1, 2 and 3 are up this time. Current incumbents are Craig Johnson in Place 1, Clay Walker in Place 2 and Oscar Aguilar in Place 3. Filing will take place with City Secretary Gale Roberts at City Hall.
Two seats will be up this time for Sulphur Springs School Board. Incumbents are Don Sapaugh and Jason Dietze. Filing will take place with Tax Collector Sandra Gibby in the Tax Office at the School Admin Building.
There are two seats up this time on the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Board. Incumbents are Dr. David Black and Dr. Suzanne Thomas Bankston. Filing will take place with Sherry Jones in the Hospital Administration Office
