William Ray Strebeck, age 75, of Emory, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at his residence. Visitation for Mr. Strebeck will be Tuesday evening 6-8 PM at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow at Turner Cemetery. William was born July 24, 1944 in Gober, to the parentage of Joe and Fannie Gowin Strebeck. He was a graduate of Rains High School. He married Donna Sue Roberts in Alba on July 19, 1963. He worked for Lone Star Steel, was a dairy farmer for a number of years, worked for Texas Instruments, and was also a hospital security guard. He loved his family as they did him.
His survivors include his wife, Donna Sue Strebeck of Emory; daughter, Pattie Sue Harford and husband Steve of Emory; son, Chuck Strebeck and wife Tina of Emory; sisters, Melba Wright of Alba; Patsy Whitworth and husband Hollis of Alba; brother Bobby Strebeck and wife Sue of Arlington; grandchildren, Derek, Katelyn, Kara, Emily; great-grandchildren, Lindzi, Gavin, Teegan, Maeleigh; numerious other loving friends and family.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Rex Earl Strebeck and Joe Alvis Strebeck.
