The Wildcats’ basketball team had trouble containing Greenville’s big players inside as the Lions took a 73-57 win in Greenville Tuesday night. The Wildcats slip to 3-7 in district play. The Wildcats will travel to Hallsville next on Friday night. (A)

The Lady Cats’ basketball team jumped out to a 9 point first quarter lead and then build on it for two quarters before coasting to a 50-36 win over Greenville in Wildcats Gym Tuesday night. There were three Lady Cats in double figures: Daieyshia Pruitt with 15 points, Kaylee Jefferson with 13 points and Chrissalynd Person with 11 points. The Lady Cats are 5-7 in district play. They’ll host Hallsville Friday night. (B)

The Wildcats’ soccer team lost a close one Tuesday night at Pine Tree, 1-0. The games only goal was scored in the second half. The Wildcats are now 1-2 in district play. The Wildcats travel to Greenville Friday night to play the Lions.
