The Wildcats’ baseball team is scheduled to open the regular season in a Tyler Lee tournament this weekend. Their Thursday game was canceled. I talked baseball with Wildcats Coach Jerrod Hammack Thursday morning.
LADY CATS SOFTBALL
After starting with four wins and a loss in their own Sulphur Springs tournament, the Lady Cats’ softball team was scheduled to play lots of games this weekend in a Lindale tournament. Their Thursday games were canceled. I talked softball with Lady Cats Softball Coach David Carrillo Thursday morning.
WILDCATS SOCCER
The Wildcats’ soccer team lost at Mt. Pleasant, 6-1 Tuesday night and they are now 3-6 in district play. Wildcats Soccer Coach Andy Holt tells us the plan for playing a home game Friday night against Pine Tree. I talked with Coach Holt about the Mt. Pleasant game and the upcoming district match at home against Pine Tree.

The Lady Cats’ soccer team plans to hit the road Friday night to play a district match at Pine Tree. The Lady Cats are now 5-4 in district play after defeating Mt. Pleasant 1-0 for the second time this year at Mt. Pleasant Tuesday due to a soggy Prim Stadium. I talked with Lady Cats Soccer Coach Jesus DeLeon.
