Barbara Bryant

Funeral service for Barbara Bryant, age 85, of Emory, will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 11:00 am, at Emory Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Dougherty Cemetery. David Baker will officiate. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, one hour prior to service time, at the church.
Ms. Bryant died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, in Sulphur Springs at the Carriage House. She was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Cherokee City, AR, to Horton and Blanche Ellis Allen. She married H.D. “Bud” Bryant, in Emory, on Oct. 26, 2002.

Ms. Bryant was a member of Emory Church of Christ, and was in the Women’s Service Club for many years.

Son: Floyd Edward “Eddie” Rogers, Jr., of Beaumont
Brother: Jim Allen of Rogers, AR
2 sisters: Ozella Young of Garland; and Cathy Whipkey of Livermoore, CA
Grandchildren: Shannon Anderson; Misty Bell; Michael Rogers; Casey Silvey;
Amanda Pettit; and Trey Rogers
Great-grandchildren: Ashley; Catie; Lacey; Cody; and Marlee
