National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. Tuesday for the North and Northeast Texas area. The advisory includes Sulphur Springs and the Hopkins County area. Visibility can be reduced to less than one quarter mile at times throughout the night. Areas of drizzle could accompany the fog thought the night. Reduced visibility will make driving hazardous at night especially in areas where roads are wet.
If driving in dense fog—slow down, use your low-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
