Prince Anthony Beachum was born on October 10, 1969. He was educated in Sulphur Springs, Texas, where he resided till his death. Prince Anthony, also known as D. J. Big Ham, was loved by many. He worked and served in his community. He was a dedicated leader in the Juneteenth Committee here in Sulphur Springs. He was a member of Mitchell Chapel C. O. G. I. C. He worked faithfully for Ocean Spray for over twenty years, and before that at Kmart, Hon’s and Clayton Homes. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Willie Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Deloise Beachum, sister, Katina Beachum, nieces Na’Kya Hughes and Asia Beachum, nephew, Micah Hughes, aunt, LaWanda Walker plus many other aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Mitchell Chapel C.O.G.I.C. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday March 12, 2021 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
