Funeral Service for Ina Lou Scalf, age 87, of Lone Oak, TX will be held at 2:00P.M. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cumby, TX with Bro. Robert Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Sunny Point Cemetery with sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers.Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00P.M. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky
Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Scalf passed away on April 3, 2021 at her residence.
Ina Lou was born on July 16, 1933 in Collin County, TX to Leonard Mitchell and Aline E (Hobson) Young. She married her husband Troy Allen Scalf on May 11, 1951 at Liberty Baptist Church in Collin County, he preceded her in death in 2009. Ina Lou worked at TI and Motorola and was a housewife. Her hobbies included reading, fishing and camping. Ina Lou had friends
from church and taught Sunday school class that she enjoyed. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cumby.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Jenkins and husband, Buster; sons, Leonard Allen Scalf, Tommy Scalf and wife, Kathy and Rory Clay Scalf; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and two on the way. Ina Lou was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Bob and Eugene Young; sister-in-laws, Betty and Nelda Young.
