Funeral service for Edward Earl Morris, age 67, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Rudy Ellis officiating. No visitation has been scheduled. Interment will follow at the Mel Haven Cemetery. Mr. Morris passed away on July 11, 2021, at his home in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
He was born the son of Richard Wills and Betty Morris Wills in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on September 25, 1953. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1973 and was never married. Mr. Morris worked at Cannon Craft Manufacturing, until he joined the military in 1974, until he was discharged.
Survivors include her cousin, Mary Montague; special nephew, Joseph Washington; special cousins, Angela Washington and Julia Hawkins; and numerous friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Wills and Betty Morris Wills.
