SSPD Posted Two Videos From Vehicle Burglaries, Asking For Help Identifying Suspects

Sulphur Springs Police Department this morning posted screen shots take from videos from recent vehicle burglaries, and asked for help trying to Identify the suspects. Around lunch, SSPD posted two videos on social, asking for help identifying the two suspects captured entering individuals’ vehicles.

One of the videos (above) depicts two people wearing what appear to be hoodies walk up to a what a driveway, where four vehicles are parked front to back two deep. Each person then opens an unlocked vehicle door, one the passenger’s side door of a car at the back edge of the driveway and the other proceeds between the cars to a reddish orange colored extended cab pickup.

The movement caused an outdoor light to come on, showing two individuals not in light clothing but in dark shirts. can be seen in what appears to be dark clothing. It becomes apparent this is the location from which the photo released earlier were taken.

After opening the passenger’s side door of the car, the first suspect is seen entering the car. Movement can be seen in the car, then the person exits, gently closes the door and walks away behind the car toward the street.

The second person from just inside the driver’s side door of the truck can be seen in a black or dark colored shirt with white or light writing, possibly “Nike,” on it, possibly gloves. The person opens the the truck console and appears to rifle through it. The suspect then flips the driver’s side front visor, gets further into the truck, stretching across the seat and console, and appears to be moving things around in the area of the glove box. The person then exits the pickup and quickly walks away in the same direction as the first suspect.

In the second video posted Wednesday afternoon, July 14, 2021, two people wearing hoodies are seen walking down the street. One enters a driveway where two vehicles are parks, tries to open one vehicle door and, finding it locked, walks away.
