Celebration of life for Margarett Toon, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Seymore Cemetery with Alekzander Brown, Preston Worsham, Brian Haren, Roger Dyer, J.W. Thompson and Brandon Adams serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Toon passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Bradley Toon, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; her daughter, Tami Brown of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Caitlin Brooke Thompson, whom she cared for as her own, along with great-granddaughter Addison Brown, of Como, Texas; stepsons Bradley Joe Toon and wife Carrie of Cummings, Georgia, Rodney Keith Toon and wife Jorjanna of Midlothian, Texas; Ryan Gregory Toon and wife Rosio of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bud Harris Toon of Sherman, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Taylor Applegate, Cheyenne Thompson, Landon Shearer, Alekzander Brown, Jax Brown, Andrew Toon, Baileigh Toon, Aiden Toon, Preston Toon, Michael Toon, Daniel Toon and Alexandria Toon; and also nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a niece, Christy Busby Worsham and husband Preston Worsham of Texarkana, Arkansas; nephew, Jason Busby of Quitman, Texas; and great-niece, Myia Riley of Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Wilson Thompson III, and her sister, Sue Ann Busby.
