A graveside service for Doris Jane McKee, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. McKee passed away on January 30, 2022 ,at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.
Doris was born on September 27, 1936, in Quail, Texas, to Oram Judson “O.J.” and Ethel Mae (Crumley) Weaver. She married Royce McKee on November 6, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas. She worked as a property manager. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Tod W McKee and wife, Erin; daughter, DeAnn McKee; grandchildren, Justin McKee and wife Jessica, Chance McKee and husband Kenny, Gavin Myrdahl and Emma McKee; great-grandchildren, Collin, Parker and Declan McKee.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce W McKee; and brother, R.H. Weaver
