David Watson told KSST Morning Show listeners that the Dairy Festival Parade is Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at Buford Park down Connally Street to Celebration Plaza and down Gilmer Street to Lee Street. The theme for the parade is “Just Moo It”, a sports theme, and the Bryant Fisher Family will serve as Parade Marshalls. The Fisher family is a long time dairy family in Hopkins County.
The parade features various entries including the Hot Air Balloon pilots, Festival Queen candidates, a variety of floats and other entries. Four anniversary Festival Queens will also be in the parade.
Parking in the area of Connally Street near the plaza will be limited to allow more room for spectators.
