Funeral services for Geraldine Gowen, age 94 of Dike will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Noel Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Conner Cemetery with J.D. Goodman, James Waller, Henry McCreery, Murray Camper, Don Camper and Jeremy Burris serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Gowen passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab. She was born in Sulphur Bluff on September 4, 1920, the daughter of William Riley and Elizabeth May (Puckett) Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dike Church of Christ.
Survivors include: grandson, Jimmy Goodman and wife, Robin of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandson, J.D. Goodman; great-granddaughter, Misty Goodman and four great-great-grandchildren.
