Man Lying in Ditch Arrested

July 25, 2023 – Hopkins County Sheriff’s Deputies responded Monday night to a report of a man laying in the roadside ditch along Highway 19 South. CHARLIE COLE DUNSON, an unemployed resident of Arlington, was indeed found lying in the ditch near the intersection of Highway 19 amd FM 1567 south of Sulphur Springs.

A records check showed Dunson had a warrant out of Denton County.

He was arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Jail without incident.
