James Allen Tucker, 76 of Lone Oak, Texas, took his last breath on earth and his first breath in Heaven, on September 18, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by wife;Sandra France Tucker, their 6 children and their spouses; Paula Tucker Clifton; Barry, Brian Allen Tucker, Melissa Tucker Weatheread; John, Sharon Gilchrest Petty; Matt, Clinton Gilchrest, Carrie Mosher. 10 Grandchildren and their spouses Paul Hooten; Patricia, Misty Partin;Trevor, Dylon Weatheread; Brittni, Sarah Helms; Houston, Ryan Tucker, Brooke Petty, CJ Gilchrest, Aidan Beets, Miley Beets, Kayleigh Beets. 6 Great Grandchildren, Cody Hooten, Alyssa Partin, Colbie Weatheread, Casie Weatheread, Rhylee Helms, Maeleigh Tucker. He is also survived by 7 brothers and Sisters and their spouses, Archie Tucker; Linda, Patsy Large; Dwight, Nancy Large; late husband Danny, Sherri Ferrell; Steve, Rita Martin, Carla Dixon; Darryl, Michael Tucker. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. After his retirement from Stewart & Stevenson, in Longview, Texas they moved to, Lone Oak Texas to be closer to family. James, loved racing, camping, riding his motorcycle and ” fiddling” around in his shop, he was very humerus and loved playing jokes on his children and grandchildren, he also, loved his “Lil buddy” Gizz. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by both Parents Adrian (Buddy Tucker); Mattie Lou Joslin Tucker, Nephew Rodney Tucker and Brother in law, Danny Large. There will be no formal visitation or funeral, per his request. There will be a Celebration of his Life, details will follow.
