Obituary – Harold Bradley Toon
Graveside services for Harold Bradley Toon, age 72, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Seymore Cemetery. Mr. Toon passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his home.
Brad was born on November 7, 1951 in Paris, TX to Dan Moody and Alice (Sweat) Toon. After high school, he worked as a machinist until retiring from L3 in Greenville, TX. He married Margarett Toon on June 21, 2003 in Sulphur Springs, TX. In his younger years, Brad enjoyed participating in rodeo events in the area and he could usually be found watching his favorite western movies.
He is survived by his sons; Brad Toon and wife Carrie, Rodney Toon and wife Jorjanna, Ryan Toon and wife Rocio, Bud Toon; step daughter, Tami Brown; grandchildren, Andrew Toon, Baleigh Toon, Ashley Kruger, Brian Davis, Aiden Toon, Preston Toon, Michael Toon, Daniel Toon, Alexandra Toon, Caitlin Thompson, Taylor Applegate, Cheyenne Thompson; great grandchild, Addison Brown; brother, Greg Toon; sister Delores Cregg.
Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Alice Toon; wife, Margarett Toon; stepson, James Thompson and wife Nikki; brothers, Danny Toon and David Toon.
