Two at-large positions currently held by Jason Dietze and Kerry Wright will be up for election.

Application Process
- Candidates must complete an application and Form CTA (Appointment of a Campaign Treasurer)
- Candidate filing period to file application for place on the ballot – Wednesday, January 17, 2024 to Friday, February 16, 2024. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. or Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- All applications filed are public records and open to inspection upon request.
- Completed forms must be filed in the Tax Office of the SSISD Administration Building Boardroom at 631 Connally Street, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482

Jan. 1, 2024 – First Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail
Jan. 17, 2024 – First Day to File an Application for a Place on the Ballot
Feb. 16, 2024 – Last Day to Order an Election
Feb. 16, 2024 – Last Day to File an Application for a Place on the Ballot – 5:00 p.m.
April 4, 2024 – Last Day to Register to Vote
April 22, 2024 – Early voting begins -Sulphur Springs ISD Administration Building – Boardroom 631 Connally Street, Sulphur Springs, Tx 75482 8a.m. – 5 p.m.
April 23, 2024 – Last day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (must be received by close of business day)
April 30, 2024 – Last day of early voting
May 4, 2024 – Election day 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
