April 23, 2024 – Fight for Zachariah is a local effort to raise funds for an alternative cancer treatment for 19 year-old Zachariah Walker.
Walker is fighting a rare and aggressive cancer. He was originally diagnosed at the age of 17. His family is seeking funds to provide an alternative cancer treatment. That treatment is not covered by insurance. His family will need to provide the entire $54,000.
Walker worked at Signature Solar in Sulphur Springs until his radiation and chemotherapy treatments took their toll on his energy levels.
His is family is understandably overwhelmed with the day-to-day efforts to provide care, make appointments, and navigate the medical/insurance system. Friends and members of the community have come forward to provide avenues of support for Zachariah.

T-Shirts can also be ordered. The deadline is April 25th. Proceeds go directly to Zachariah’s treatment. Be sure to include your size and fabric color when you order.
There will be a number of fundraisers in Hopkins County. Make sure to let them know you are supporting Zachariah.
- Los Mochis, on April 25th from 5pm 9 pm. They will donate a portion of you ticket to Zachariah.
- April 26, 10 am to 2 PM, at Split Decision, They will donate a portion of you ticket to Zachariah. They are also hosting a raffle, baked goods and auction.
- May 18th, 5pm to 12 AM, at Muddy Jakes Sports Grille and Pub. Battle of the Bands.
- May 30th, 10:30 AM to 9pm at the Corner Grub House. They will donate a portion of you ticket to Zachariah.
