Memorial service for Alma Pangle, age 81, of Elkins, Arkansas will be held at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Pangle passed away at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Alma Deloris Pangle was born on December 2, 1942 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Oliver F. and Gracie Alma (Ward) Wright. Alma was firstly a child of God and a faithful servant of him from the time she accepted him as her Lord as a child. Together with her husband John, she served as a loving wife, mother, pastor’s wife, and missionary. Alma was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was always their greatest prayer warrior. As a parent, she instilled in her children to always put God first and seek his guidance in every part of life. She set an example in life of hard work, loyalty, and love for others. Alma often brought smiles to the faces of all who had the privilege to know her. Her joy and laughter in the simple moments of life, whether solving a word puzzle or eating a hotdog, were pure and contagious. We will miss her physical presence with us, but we know she is at peace and comfort in the arms of her Savior. Her spirit and legacy will live on for eternity.
Alma is survived by her children, Brenda Allen, Cynthia Baker (Steve), Jonathan Pangle; grandchildren, Jennifer Reinking, Timothy Allen (Whitney), Mathew Allen, Billy Baker (Becca), Abby Minturn (Jason), Jonathan Pangle, Joshua Pangle, Justin Pangle; great-grandchildren, Conner Reinking, Peyton Reinking, Leah Allen, Milo Allen, Maverick Allen, Norah Baker, Logan Baker, Manoah, Minturn; sister, Shirley Massey; and brother, Oliver F. Wright, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Gracie Wright; and husband, John Pangle.
