Shelia Gean Hall began her earthly journey May 9, 1959, and departed to receive her wings September 2, 2024.
Ms. Hall was born in Mount Vernon, TX to Cleo Criddler and Mary Joe Hall as the youngest of 8 siblings. She completed years of high school at Mount Vernon High School. She served others over the years by working in retail and being a caregiver in nursing homes and as well as private homes. She was a member at Mount Zion Methodist Church and accepted Christ at an early age. To know Sheila, you know she loved to cook and fry the best chicken around, always had a smile on her face and kept everyone laughing around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters – Viola Rogers, Mildred Billips, Diane Criddler and Betty Dial. She was also preceded by her 2 brothers Bobby Hall and Marvin Hall.
She has precious memories to leave behind for those to cherish with include daughters Chereasha Godbolt (Broderick) of Sulphur Springs, TX and Tia Hall of Mount Pleasant, TX. She is also survived by her brother David Hall (Nora) of Mount Vernon, TX. She will also be remembered by her 7 grandchildren Charity, Destiny, Danielle, Justin, Makayla, Tasia and Rylee along with 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her cousin, best friend and “road dog” Vivian Douglas, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
