A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, October 20, 2024
HEY FRIENDS!! Just a word to that friend who is feeling like their future has been destroyed by circumstances beyond their control. I know that person came against you and seems to have ripped you right out of line of your destiny. I know you didn’t get that promotion you were praying for and now how on earth will you ever get to where you thought you were going! I know life slipped you a bad hand and now your sitting at the table of life wondering how on earth anything will ever come back together again. Maybe it was a job loss, maybe a divorce, maybe a failure, maybe it’s an unexpected illness, maybe it was a betrayal by a friend that caused your whole world to fall in. Whatever it may be I just want to speak to that very raw and tender place and say Sweet friend I know it hurts, I know it’s not fair and I know it doesn’t make any sense. I get that right now it truly feels like you will never fulfill what you were certain the Lord was calling you to. It feels like that was just ripped right out of your hands and cannot be recovered. I know. But listen sweet friend, NOTHING can thwart what God has planned for you except you purposefully choosing to not walk in it. So many times the very circumstance we think came and destroyed us is exactly what The Lord is using to prepare us! You can be sure that if it has come across your path (whether orchestrated by the Lord or not) God will use it to further His purpose for your life WHEN you purpose to allow Him to make good use of the hurts, hiccups, and hangups of your life. Take all those pieces and give them to the one who can take the mess and make a message, the trial and make it a triumph, the test and make it a testimony. There is not a man, woman, circumstance big enough to derail the plan God has for your life. NOT EVEN YOUR MISTAKES MY FRIEND! You cannot mess up big enough to have the Lord trash your purpose. He has a plan for the hurt, He has a purpose for the pain. What the enemy tried to use to harm you He WILL turn around for your good!! So many times I have given the control to others and was certain that I would never get to where I was headed because of the circumstances that came before me. It was such a great day to learn that I can trust the Lord to get me where we’re going! So friends, take the shattered pieces, the broken heart, the pain and regrets and whatever it is and give it to the Lord. Trust that nothing has stopped the hand of God in your life! He has a plan for where you are to get you where you’re going! Trust Him!! You are loved by a Mighty God!! Live Loved!
