GoFundMe Established For Funerals of Local Twins Killed in Car Accident

November 3, 2024 – An ongoing investigation is underway in Morris County as details of a fatal car accident are still being determined. The identities of the three deceased in the accident have been shared through social media as two SSISD students, Caylee and CJ Murry along with their father. SSISD Superintendent Dr. Deana Steeber released information to those in the Wildcat family.

DPS Officers in Morris County released information about the accident as follows: “Three people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash at about 7pm Saturday night in Morris County. A preliminary investigation by State Troopers indicated that a GMC Yukon eastbound on SH 49 failed to drive in a single lane and struck two vehicles that were traveling west. The first vehicle had three occupants who were transported for medical treatment. The second vehicle also had three occupants. Two were pronounced deceased at the scene and the third died later after being transported to a hospital. The driver of the Yukon was listed in critical condition at last report. This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information is available.
