Sulphur Springs High School Wildcat Theatre to Perform 2025 UIL One Act Play for Public March 2nd

February 27, 2025 – SSHS Wildcat Theatre will perform our 2025 UIL One Act Play for the public on Sunday, March 2 at 2pm in the SSHS Auditorium. Please come out and support these talented kids as they get ready for District Competition on March 7th in Hallsville.

This dark comedy traces the bizarre career of virtuoso violinist Nicolo Paganini (senior Aiden Woodard), a man so possessed during his performances that it was rumored he had sold his soul to the devil (junior Conner Curtis). Using Paganini’s 24 Caprices for Violin as a haunting background, this play flies through Paganini’s nightmares, his complicated relationship with the women in his life (junior Emma Boatman and freshmen Emery Brown and Natalie Gomez), and a mysterious Clockmaker that keeps trying to take control (junior Nathan Bilyeu.)

The cast of nightmares also includes sophomores Haley Hopkins, Sunni Vanderburg, Alister Ferguson, and freshmen Jodeci Macon and Ashton Harrington. Our amazing crew members include senior River Vanderburg, juniors Sebastion Hernandez and Moni Finnie, and freshmen Kylie Watson, Hayden Whillock, Kyla Navarro, and Daniel Velazquez.

The performance is free–donations are accepted at the door.

Recommended for ages 13+.
