Donna Wilhite, age 66 passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home in Hopkins County.
She was born in Sulphur Springs on October 19, 1948, the daughter of Howard Paul and Olcie (Scott) Springer. She married Jerry Don Wilhite on December 22, 1967 in Sulphur Springs. She was a longtime member of the League Street Church of Christ and a past volunteer with Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a long time avid antique dealer and collector.
Survivors include her husband; son, Gregory Wilhite of Duncanville; sisters, Choyce Thomas and husband, Bob and Aliece Hanselka and husband, Jim, all of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Larry Springer of Beeville and Jimmy Springer and wife, Rosemary of Sulphur Springs and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlene Springer and brother, Steve Springer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Jerry Savage and Buddy Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Bavard Hill, Larry Fite, Matt Yosten, Randy Reed, Tom Etzkorn and Jerry Lucky serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Larry Gamblin. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
