September 25, 2015 – Nessica Rachele Hale, 40, was sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Corrections Friday September 25, 2015 following a plea bargain. Hale pled guilty to fraudulent used of identifying information, a Felony 2; tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a Felony 3; and credit card or debit card abuse, a state jail felony.
In July of this year, Hale was arrested for use of the credit cards. She had been working with her son in a series of burglaries. He would take the items and pass on the credit cards and other items to Hale. She and her son had thrown a weapon taken in a burglary into an area lake. (see story here and here)
In an unrelated incident, in June of this year Hale was arrested in Paris and charged with fraud by using or possession more than five items of identifying information. Those items had been stolen in Hunt County. (see story here)
