Geneve StriplingFuneral service for Geneva Faye Garmon Stripling, age 100, of Miller Grove, will be held Saturday, 2:00 PM, January 30, 2016, at Miller Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery.  Mrs. Stripling passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

Geneva was born on August 16, 1915, in Point, to Frank Russell and Ola Ferrell Landrum Garmon, Sr.  She married James Wesley Stripling on July 23, 1939. She worked and retired after many years from Reserve Life Insurance Company in Dallas.  She was a charter member of Miller Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of Miller Grove Quilting Club.

Survivors include:
2 Daughters: Jeanetta Louise Smith of Denton and Anita Kay Stripling of Miller Grove
Son: James Richard Stripling, and wife, Sandy, of Seymour
Brother: Hollis D. Garmon, and wife, June, of Greenville
Brother-in-law: Luke Morris Stripling, and wife, Madeline, of Dickinson
Sisters-in-law: Elaine Garmon and June Garmon, both of Miller Grove
3 Grandchildren: Kim Stripling Hollar, and husband, Ronald; M.W. Stripling, and wife, Michelle; and Austin Lee Smith, and wife, Whitney
Great-grandchildren: Hayden Hollar; Brady Hollar; Wesley Cole Hollar; Jacob Stripling; Kaytlin Stripling; Audrey Leigh Smith; and Payton Jean Smith
Numerous other nieces and nephews
