Yantis School Board enters executive session to consider the possible appointment of an acting superintendent shortly after the start of tonight’s board regular session at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Following the recent defeat of an increase in taxes for the school district, the superintendent tendered his resignation. The board president will make remarks following the opening Pledge of Allegiance.
Following the executive session, the board will vote on any directions determined during the executive session. They will also consider changes to the District calendar for UIL Academic meet, consider district pay dates and discuss adding Wood County 4-H to Extracurricular status.
