The Lady Cats’ softball team continues their season and the Wildcats’ baseball team and the Wildcats and Lady Cats’ track teams open their seasons on this Thursday game day.
The Wildcats’ baseball team will open the regular season with back to back games Thursday in the 26th annual Rose City Classic sponsored by Tyler Lee. The Wildcats will face a tough Forney team at 3 p.m. and then will play Lindale at 5 p.m. Both of those games will be at Tyler’s Mike Carter Field.
The Lady Cats’ softball will also play back to back games Thursday in an Allen tournament. The Lady Cats face Frisco Liberty at 5 p.m. and then McKinney North at 7 p.m. The Lady Cats enter the tournament with a season record of 4-1. They played all five of those games in their Sulphur Springs Varsity Softball Tournament last week.
Finally the Wildcats and Lady Cats’ track teams open their season at a Denison meet. Events get underway at 4 p.m.
