A traffic stop by Sulphur Springs Police Wednesday at 2:57 a.m. in the 700 block of Whitworth Street resulted in the arrest of David Lincoln Alsobrooks, 63. Alsobrooks was a passenger in the vehicle.
The officer noted drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and found a cocaine rock in Alsobrooks’ pocket.
Alsobrooks is in Hopkins County Jail charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, less than 1-gram. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
