The third annual Passionately Pink For the Cure 5K Walk/Run takes place Saturday at Buford Park. Registration is at 7 a.m. with the walk/run starting at 8 a.m. Funds raised benefit the Susan Komen Foundation’s fight against breast cancer. Hopkins County EMS and local firefighters put on the event and publicize it by wearing pink t-shirts.
