Funeral services for Billie Ruth Massey Miller, age 92, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Bowen and Paul Raack officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Wright, Joshua Raack, Adam Raack, Jarod Raack, Caleb Massey, Justin Massey, Sarah Massey and Samantha Raack. Billie Ruth passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Sunny Springs Health and Rehab.
Billie Ruth was born on August 21, 1925 in Wolfe City, the daughter of Floyd Pack and Mona Mae Woodard Pack. She married George H. Massey in 1944 and he preceded her in death. She then married Lee Miller in 1964 and he preceded her in death. Billie Ruth was a bookkeeper for over 46 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, George David Massey and wife Brenda Gayle of Sulphur Springs, brother, Jerry Pack, grandchildren, Samantha Wright, Jennifer Raack, Clinton Massey, John Richard Hargraves, Kim Subia and Melissa Hatfield, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sandra Kay Grissom, brother, Jim Pack and sister, Pauline Pack.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
