Funeral service for John Old, age 84, will be held Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, 2:00 pm, in the chapel of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow service in Smyrna Cemetery. John passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at the age of 84.He was born in Dallas. He served his country in the U.S. Army. John married Janis Hogue in Mineola. His career was in firefighting with the Houston Fire Dept.
