Monday saw 77 early votes cast in the Sulphur Springs City Council race for Places 1, 2, and 3. As of 5 p.m. Monday, 498 registered city voters had cast ballots. Today is the last day for early voting in the council race. Each Place has two candidates vying for the seat. Early voting is in the second floor Conference Room at City Hall 201 North Davis Street. A handicap ramp and elevator are available to access the voting area. Hours for early voting are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Election Day, Saturday May 5th, voting will be in the conference room at city hall between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
