The Wildcats’ team tennis squad lost a pair of matches on the road Tuesday (August 14). The day started early with a match at Hallsville. The Bobcats won going away 14-5. In the afternoon, the Wildcats took on Jacksonville. The Indians ended up with a 16-3 victory.
Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez was hoping to see a little more fight out of his team. He added the Wildcats had to play shorthanded Tuesday due to a lack of girls’ players for a variety of reasons.
The Wildcats are now 1-6 for the season. The Wildcats play host to Forney Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Wildcat Tennis Complex.
