Funeral service for Debbie Layton, 54, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Sustaire officiating. Interment will follow at Aiguier Cemetery with Lonnie Layton, Eric Layton, Michael Boyd, Phillip Coleman, Toby Williams, and Michael Vittitow serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Vittitow. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at West Oaks Fuenral Home.
Mrs. Layton passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Medical Center of Plano. She was born on July 16, 1960 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Melvin Alfred Penny and Barbara Lawson Penny. She was co-owner of The Marble Shop and a member of Davis Street Baptist Church. She married Larry Layton in Sulphur Springs and he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Kim Perkins Coleman and husband Phillip, Kelli Perkins Williams and husband Toby all of Sulphur Springs and Lacinda Layton of WA, grandchildren, Tucker Ewalt, Maddie Williams, and Presley Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, and her son Matthew Layton.
