Road Closed Due to Flooding
On HWY 71 near FM 3134 near the Hopkins and Hunt County line, the road has been reported to be flooded. As a reminder always be cautious when flooding occurs on roads, and do not try to drive through the water. It can be deceptively deep or mess up your car or leave you stranded.

The Area 6 FFA Convention was held for the first time since 1987 in Sulphur Springs on February 26 at 2:00 pm in the Civic Center Auditorium.
