Meeting Monday, June 12, the Sulphur Springs School Board approved the hiring of Cannon Earp as the new Wildcats Head Basketball Coach. Sulphur Springs fell 1-0 in two straight playoff matches to Aubrey on Thursday and Friday to eliminate the Lady Cats. It is the second time in three years the softball team has fallen in round four.
