Lady Cats Suffer Close Loss to T High
The Lady Cats Soccer Team suffered a tough close loss, 1-0 to Texas High Friday night at Gerald Prim Stadium. The Lady Tigers scored a first half goal and it was all they needed as they kept the ball out of their goal all night long. The Lady Cats are now 4-2 in district play. Their season mark is now 13-3. The Lady Cats complete the first half of district play next Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hallsville.

The Lady Cats Soccer Team suffered their first district loss of the season in Longview, 3-1 Tuesday night. Lady Cats Coach Jesus DeLeon called the Lady Lobos the hardest opponent because of their depth. He said they make it where a team has to have everyone at the top of their game. The Lady Cats’ soccer team had a tough night on Senior Night Monday as Texas High claimed a solid 5-0 win at the Track and Soccer Complex. The Lady Tigers scored four first half goals and coasted home in the second half. The result sets up the Lady Tigers to play Longview for the district championship while the Lady Cats probably face a must win scenario to reach the playoffs at Hallsville Friday night.
