May 10th Deputies arrived at CR 2174 in Quitman at approximately 12:45 a.m. to serve a warrant. The individual was found in the residence. Morris Sentenced in Revocation of Probation
James Morris had his two felony probations revoked Thursday in Eighth Judicial District Court. Morris probation was for Burglary of a Building and Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair. Cooper Man Sentenced to Seven Years in TDCJ
Friday, Michael D. Johnson, of Cooper, Texas, received seven years in prison in a plea bargain agreement in Delta County Eighth Judicial District Court, according to Clay Harrison, Assistant District Attorney. He received the seven years for tampering with evidence. This is his second incarceration in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Should he be convicted of a third felony, he faces 25-years to life.
