Wildcat Soccer Begins Practice

The Wildcats’ soccer team has their first day of practice Monday (November 27). Wildcats Soccer Coach Nicky Wiggins is in his second year as head coach and he says he is looking forward to the first workout. Wildcats Soccer Youth Camp Underway

Wildcats Soccer Coach Nicky Wiggins had a good number of young soccer players turn out for night one of his four night boys and girls soccer camp at the Multipurpose Building Monday night from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.. The camp runs through Thursday evening. There were about 60 kids entering kindergarten through the seventh grade and about a dozen older kids who will be entering the eighth or ninth grade. Landan Thornton, 16, was the overall winner of the 5K Milk Run Friday evening  during Hopkins County Dairy Festival Activities. Thornton’s time  was 17:43.1 for a 5:43 mile.
