December 28, 2015 – Cody Scott Shaw, 27, entered a plea of guilty to Capital Murder charges in the murder and robbery of 66-year old Gary Maynard. This year’s Hopkins County United Way Campaign soared past its’ $160,000 goal by quite a bit as dollars poured in at a final report meeting Wednesday morning.
