A 33-year old Yantis man, William Lee Honea, wanted for the November 17 armed robbery of Massey’s Convenience Store in Sulphur Springs, was shot to death by Oklahoma lawmen during a gun battle near the Choctaw Casino in Grant Thursday afternoon. Bo Fox said after reviewing lots of store surveillance footage and after talking with witnesses, he determined that 33-year old William Lee Honea of Yantis was the one who robbed Massey’s Convenience Store at Broadway and Shannon Road.
